A.COURSE FEE

1. The Student (Registrant) shall pay the Course Fee to Canadent Education Centre Corp. upon signing of this agreement.
2. Canadent Education Centre Corp. course credits are non-refundable, non-transferable and expire after 6 months.
3. When a Student (Registrant) is eligible for multiple discounts or offers, only one discount or offer (the highest in value) will be applied to the Course Fee. 

 

B.Applicatoin and REGISTRATION process

1. Upon signing of this Agreement and completion of the registration form, the Student (Registrant)’s application for enrollment in the Course will be deemed to have been submitted (the “Enrollment Application”).
2. Canadent Education Centre Corp. will review the Enrollment Application and may interview the Student (Registrant) to determine eligibility.
3. Should Canadent Education Centre Corp. not accept the Enrollment Application, in its sole and absolute discretion, Canadent Education Centre Corp. will communicate such the rejection to the Student (Registrant) within three (3) weeks of submission of the Application.
4. The Student (Registrant) shall be deemed to have been successfully enrolled in the Course if Canadent Education Centre Corp. does not communication the rejection within three (3) weeks of submission of the Enrollment Application.

 

C.Description OF SERVICES

1. In exchange for the payment of the Course Fee, the Student (Registrant) will be enrolled in the Course and will gain access to all offered sessions of the Chosen Course, as more particularly set out in the Course outline.
2. The Student (Registrant) acknowledges that timing within the sessions will be managed by the instructor and allocated to groups and/or individuals as the instructor sees fit.
3. The Student (Registrant) understands that this Course all the answers to the questions, the materials, and the presentations provided by instructors are based on latest textbooks and references; however, it is the Student(Registrant)’s own responsibility to ensure that these materials and answers are up-to-date and meet the Student(Registrant)’s particular needs and his/her own country MOH laws.
4. The Student(Registrant) further acknowledges that this program is just to help the Student(Registrant) improve their knowledge and clinical skills but does not guarantee admission to a dental school or any university degree or any official permission for work. Student(Registrant) should follow his/her own country rules.

 

D.Cancellation Refund Policy

1. Canadent Education Centre Corp. shall make best efforts to offer the Courses the scheduled times and with the pre-determined instructors. Subject to the foregoing, Canadent Education Centre Corp. shall have the right to adjust the Course timelines, instructors and the number of sessions and to cancel sessions or a Course at its reasonable discretion (“Cancellation by Canadent Education Centre Corp.”).
2. In the event of a Cancellation by Canadent Education Centre Corp. of any sessions of the Course or the Course in its entirety, Canadent Education Centre Corp. shall provide written notice of such cancellation to the Student(Registrant) and shall reimburse the Student(Registrant) for the cancelled sessions. In the event of a Cancellation by Canadent Education Centre Corp., the Student(Registrant) shall not be entitled to receive any additional compensation.
3. A Student(Registrant) who intends to cancel or withdraw from the Course must provide written notice of the cancellation to Canadent Education Centre Corp. (“Cancellation by Student(Registrant)”).
4. A Student(Registrant) who intends to cancel or withdraw from the Course and provide written notice of the cancellation to Canadent Education Centre Corp. maximum 5 days after his/her registration, can ask for a full refund.
5. The notice of Cancellation by Student(Registrant) must be signed and dated and must contain the expected last date of attendance of the Student(Registrant).
6. Canadent Education Centre Corp. will start refunding after 15th July.
7. In the event of a Cancellation by Student(Registrant), Canadent Education Centre Corp. will not refund any part of the Course Fee where
   a. the Course has fewer than eight (50) Student(Registrant)s enrolled;
   b. the Student(Registrant) is on a payment plan;
   c. the service provided is an on-demand service;
   d. the service provided is a scheduled one-on-one session; and
   e. The Course Fee or the service arrangement has been modified at the request of the Student(Registrant).
8. Where Section 7 does not apply, in the event of a Cancellation by Student(Registrant), Canadent Education Centre Corp. will deduct a cancellation fee from the Course Fee and will refund the balance, if any, to the Student(Registrant) (the “Cancellation Fee”). The Cancellation Fee will be
   a. 50% of the Course Fee if the Student(Registrant) provides Canadent Education Centre Corp. with at least four (10) days before starting his/her chosen course written notice of the Cancellation;
   b. 100% of the Course Fee if the Student(Registrant) fails to provide at least one (1) week’s written notice of the Cancellation.

 

E.CONSEENT TO ELECTRONIC

COMMUNICATIONS
1. The Student(Registrant) hereby subscribes to and agrees to receive email communication, announcements and/or updates pertaining to the Course, other relevant courses and/or Canadent Education Centre Corp.’s service offerings that may be of interest.
2. Canadent Education Centre Corp. may send email communication until 24 months after the completion of the Course.
3. The Student(Registrant) may choose to opt out of receiving email communication from Canadent Education Centre Corp. at any time by using the unsubscribe button in the email communication or by requesting same from Canadent Education Centre Corp.

 

F.PROPERTY and EQUIPMENT DAMAGE AGREEMENT

1. The Student(Registrant) hereby acknowledges, understands and accepts responsibility for intentionally or unintentionally loss of, or causing any damage to any property of Canadent Education Centre Corp., including any equipment and material located at the premises of Canadent Education Centre Corp..
2. Should Canadent Education Centre Corp., in its reasonable discretion, determine that the Student(Registrant) has lost or caused any damage to the property of the CANADENT EDUCATION CENTRE CORP., the Student(Registrant) shall compensate Canadent Education Centre Corp. for any and all costs associated with the restoration or replacement of such property, as determined by Canadent Education Centre Corp. in its reasonable discretion.
3. The Student(Registrant) shall forthwith inform Canadent Education Centre Corp. of any and all damage caused to any property of Canadent Education Centre Corp..
4. The Student(Registrant) shall remove equipment from the premises of Canadent Education Centre Corp. only upon obtaining written consent of Canadent Education Centre Corp. and in all such cases the Student(Registrant) shall return the equipment in the same condition in which it was received.
5. The Student(Registrant) acknowledges that Canadent Education Centre Corp. will have the right to forthwith terminate this agreement, without any refund, and seek damages from the Student(Registrant), should the Student(Registrant) engage in vandalism or intentional destruction of Canadent Education Centre Corp. property.

 

G.CODE OF CONDUCT

1. The Student(Registrant) shall at all times abide by the Code of Conduct of Canadent Education Centre Corp., as same may be updated from time to time.
2. Subject to Section G1 hereof, the Student(Registrant) shall
   a. exercise common courtesy and professionalism at all times while on Canadent Education Centre Corp. premises or when dealing with Canadent Education Centre Corp. staff, instructors, and other trainees.
   b. Operate/use Canadent Education Centre Corp. property within the allocated time, with utmost care, while following the standards and instructions provided by Canadent Education Centre Corp. and/or its instructors.
   c. Not record any of the sessions or any other parts of the Course, whether in audio or video formats.
   d. Not taking any screen shot of the slides shown in the webinars.
   e. Not disrupt the sessions by engaging in loud side-conversations, playing music, and repetitive questions/arguments with the instructor.
   f. Not solicit, advertise or sell any material or services during the sessions or on Canadent Education Centre Corp. property.
   g. not receive instructions/training from anyone other than Canadent Education Centre Corp.’s instructors without the prior written consent of Canadent Education Centre Corp..
   h. not facilitate or allow entry onto the premises, of individuals who are not part of the Course.
   i. not defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
   j. not publish, post, upload, distribute, disseminate or otherwise make available any content that is: false, inaccurate, inappropriate, profane, defamatory, libelous, harmful, vulgar, obscene, indecent, abusive or harassing on the Canadent Education Centre Corp. forum.
   k. not interfere or disrupt any other person’s use or enjoyment of the Canadent Education Centre Corp.'s premises and/or Services.
3. The Student(Registrant) must immediately report to Canadent Education Centre Corp. any behavior by the Student(Registrant) or anyone else on Canadent Education Centre Corp. property, that does not comply with the Code of Conduct or the terms of this Agreement.
4. The Student(Registrant) acknowledges that violation of the aforementioned terms of conduct is an offense, subject to disciplinary actions and can result in immediate termination from the Courses without any refund.

 

H.COPYRIGHTS

1. All course materials are the property of Canadent Education Centre Corp.. As between Canadent Education Centre Corp. and the Student(Registrant), Canadent Education Centre Corp. owns all rights, title and interest in and to the services and program materials. The Student(Registrant) acknowledges and agrees that the services and program materials are provided to the Student(Registrant) only in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Except for the limited rights granted in this Agreement, all rights are reserved by Canadent Education Centre Corp..
2. It is strictly prohibited to transmit, reproduce, sell or distribute any course materials in any form or by any means, including but not limited to photocopying, recording, or other electronic or mechanical methods, without the prior written consent of Canadent Education Centre Corp.’ Management.
3. Student(Registrant) do not have the right to share the “link of entering the webinar rooms” to any other Student(Registrant). Canadent Education Centre Corp. grants the Student(Registrant) a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable ability to access and/or use the program materials for the Student(Registrant)’s personal, non-commercial use.
4. The Student(Registrant) acknowledges that the Student(Registrant) shall not use any of the materials (course booklets, mock examinations, course handouts, video and any virtual postings) in any manner, or for any purpose other than as expressly permitted by this Agreement.
5. The Student(Registrant) shall not create any derivative work of any of the materials provided to the Student(Registrant) as part of the Course. 6. The Student(Registrant) shall not sell, resell or reproduce, or cause or permit any other parties to sell, resell or reproduce any of the materials provided to the Student(Registrant) by Canadent Education Centre Corp..

 

I.BODILY INJURY RELEASE

1. The Student(Registrant) hereby acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for the Student(Registrant)’s safety in using any of the equipment and agrees and understands that the Student(Registrant) shall ensure that the Student(Registrant) possesses the required level of skill and knowledge to safely use any and all equipment and material used during the Courses.
2. The Student (Registrant) represents and warrants that the Student (Registrant) has read the classroom safety instructions and that the Student(Registrant) possesses the required skill and knowledge to operate and maintain the equipment and material that is used as part of the Course.
3. The Student (Registrant) agrees to observe and employ all rules and practices in place to minimize the risk of injury.
4. The Student(Registrant) hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue, and agrees to hold Canadent Education Centre Corp., its directors, officers, agents, volunteers, employees and representatives harmless from and against any and all liabilities, demands, claims, or injuries, including death, that the Student(Registrant) may sustain during or in conjunction with operating equipment or material while on the premises of Canadent Education Centre Corp. and while using the equipment provided by Canadent Education Centre Corp. at home.

 

J.PRIVACY NOTICE

1. The Student(Registrant) acknowledges that Canadent Education Centre Corp. will use the Student(Registrant)’s personal information for the purpose of provision of the Services to the Student(Registrant) as well as for the purposes of managing Canadent Education Centre Corp.’s business operations.
2. The Student(Registrant) hereby permits Canadent Education Centre Corp. to publish, reproduce, digitize, display and otherwise use, (a) the Student(Registrant)’s name, image, likeness, voice, and (b) photographs, recordings, videotapes, and audiovisual materials of the Student(Registrant), for the purposes of advertising or promotion of Canadent Education Centre Corp. services. The Student (Registrant) acknowledges that Canadent Education Centre Corp. will not have any obligations to make a payment to the Student (Registrant) for the use of such material. The Student (Registrant) acknowledges that the Student (Registrant)’s image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and hereby waives the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein the Student (Registrant)’s likeness appears. The Student (Registrant) understands that the Student (Registrant)’s likeness may be used in diverse educational and/or promotional settings within an unrestricted geographic area. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Canadent Education Centre Corp. may use the Student(Registrant)’s likeness in
   a. Conference presentations
   b. Educational presentations or courses
   c. Informational presentations
   d. On-line educational courses
   e. Educational videos
   f. Promotional content
3. The Student (Registrant) may refuse or withdraw consent to the use and disclosure of their personal information at any time, in written format, subject to contractual and other legal obligations. However, doing so may preclude entitlement to particular benefits or services.
4. Canadent Education Centre Corp. within its sole discretion, reserves the right to disclose any information it deems necessary and appropriate to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.

 

Disclaimer

As a part of the registration process, you agree not to disseminate, record, reproduce or publish any content of the online courses before, during or after online courses. Examples of confidentiality breach include, but are not limited to:
- Recording Audio /Video of the Online sessions
- Using the same intellectual property under your name
- Uploading, downloading or posting any part of these courses online

Under the Canadian Copyright Act, the Canadent incorporation it the only entity to have the exclusive legal right to publish its educational content.
It is noteworthy to mention that registration in this course requires an email containing your first and last name for identification purposes. In case of any type of screen recording or filming the name of the candidate would be watermarked to the screen during the whole course so as to identify any confidentiality breach. Canadent Inc. actively monitors for breaches in confidentiality and will seek and disciplinary and legal measures against candidates or third parties who disclose online course contents.

The motivation for violating online course security procedures varies and some have claimed that they didn’t realize they were doing it, but being “unaware” of the Canadent rules of registration is not a viable defense. It is your duty to know what is allowed and what is not.

If a security violation is suspected, it is investigated and reviewed by Canadent thoroughly. If it is deemed as a confidentiality breach, the consequences can be significant.

- Legal action may be taken against you
